At Root + Weave, I believe in the power of the Earth to heal + guide us.

I seek to create a nurturing space where individuals can explore their soul’s deepest desires, uncover their authentic selves, + embrace their true purpose. Through Shamanic healing + poetic expression, pathways are opened to reconnect with ancient wisdom, allowing you to weave your magick

into the fabric of daily life.

I think perhaps, I am about to scream.

The type of guttural scream that can only emerge from a Woman’s body.

A scream that even the wildest of animals dare not approach.

“Leave her be”, they growl, “leave her be”.

Years of mending, repairing + sowing old wounds together with a delicate smile + silk thread can only last so long.

In dreams, the sensation of a sharp pair of scissors can be felt + I am awakened by a voice that whispers, “enough”.

It is then, that I find myself unravelled, unveiled, unleashed from the binds I so carefully wove around my bones. Holding tightly to the threads, I try to stitch myself back together - but it won’t work - of course it won’t.

I think perhaps, I am about to scream.

What an honour it is to witness Women in their power.

Ever since I stepped into this gorgeous space, I have been in awe (thank you to @melisa_ruhara for finding this wonderful gem!)

@themaidenmotherandcrone studio at Glebe Farm, Astbury is a Wild Woman’s dream. Kate collects intentional pieces for her studio + the energy her space exudes is magnificent. It’s an honour to step into a space that seeks to keep the old ways alive.

A huge advocate for Lime Disease + MCAS, Kate is the voice for so many who navigate these conditions + who seek to thrive, rather than be pushed aside. ⚔️

It was so lovely to receive a spontaneous message from Kate + I lept at the opportunity to visit again. I had the pleasure of meeting @sarahsreadings11, who creates wonderful original artworks + reads the Tarot at the studio.
I also met Kate’s beautiful Son + her dear friend, who was absolutely amazing.

Sometimes, walking the Wild path can feel a little lonely. Yet, it’s moments like these that remind me how Spirit will always find a way to unite those that bravely forge their own pathway.

There’s a little collaboration in the future, so keep your eyes peeled for more info coming soon. 🌀

RITUAL SHOP 🌬️

Since opening its doors in 2021, this little shop has lived by a couple of names. Now, fully fledged, this space is a small, but intentional branch of ROOT + WEAVE.

Here, you can find a moment of ritual.

For the first time, you can receive gorgeous ceramic incense bowls + dimple mugs. All lovingly handcrafted by @katesmallwoodceramics. 🌀

@shywolfcandles are (of course) returning, with a little stock up offer. Buy 2 candles + receive a 3rd half price. Though we are in the depths of Summer, Autumn is not far ahead + thus, it shall be time to light our candles once more. 🕯️

On Saturday 18 July I shall be reopening my online ritual shop. 🕊️

All offerings are intended to support you in finding a moment of ritual in your day.

Whether that’s lighting a gorgeous @shywolfcandles, reading a few lines of poetry (oh hey, Embers Beneath the Stars!) Sipping on a warm handcrafted cup of something yummy or burning your favourite incense in the evening sunshine - the decision is yours. 🌬️

This is a magickal reopening of my ritual shop, as you can purchase, for the first time, beautifully handcrafted dimple mugs + stunning ritual incense bowls. These have been lovingly crafted by @katesmallwoodceramics, with the incense bowls specially commissioned for the ROOT + WEAVE community. 🌀

It’s such an honour to work with local, magickal creatives who are so deeply inspired by the landscape + create pieces that can help us sink softly into ritual.

There is limited stock + all pieces are unique.
All Shy Wolf Candle stock is final for 2026.

Thank to everyone for visiting my stall, for chatting, for sharing + venturing out in the sunshine.

The intention (+ as always with ROOT + WEAVE), is to invite you into a little moment of ritual.

It doesn’t have to look aesthetic, complicated or elaborate.

It can look like:

A sip of hot tea, a breath, lighting a candle, burning incense, pulling a card, feet on the earth, hands in the soil …

Follow your heart + you’ll always find what you need. 🌬️
